The residential passenger elevator uses a double-sided guide rail structure, which requires a full concrete hoistway or concrete ring beam, which requires high civil construction, so higher civil construction material costs are required. Since the height of the top layer needs to be 3600-4200mm, and the depth of pit is generally 1200-1600mm, a lot of waterproofing treatment is required.
2. In terms of shaft utilization:
The hoistway of a home elevator occupies a small area of the house, and the small elevator hoistway only needs a space of about 1200mm*1300mm to install. The car makes full use of the hoistway, and the utilization rate is extremely high. With the same car size, the hoistway space occupied is about 40% smaller than that of a commercial elevator.
The hoistway of the residential passenger elevator occupies a large area and the space utilization rate is also low. It is not suitable for installation in homes, and it is not suitable for installation in villas need a lot of cost.
3. In terms of opening the door:
There are many door opening methods for residential home elevators, just like the common door opening methods such as pull door, central door, straight door, side door, which almost match all villa types.
Residential passenger elevators have only two types, the same entry and exit, and through doors, which cannot adapt to the ever-changing villa types.
4. In terms of energy saving:
The power supply of the home elevator is 220V, single-phase power, that is, ordinary household electricity, no industrial power supply is required. The total rated power during operation is 1.5KW, of which the drive system is 1.1KW, which is similar to the power of a 1.5P household air conditioner, and saves 60% of electricity compared to residential passenger elevators.
The power supply of the residential passenger elevator is 380V, which is the three-phase power supply. If you want to use industrial power, private houses need to apply for an additional application, and its drive system power alone is about 3.0KW.
